Quality Manager - Contract Packaging & Warehouse

A leading 3PL is hiring a Quality Manager for a 970,000 sq. ft. contract packaging and warehousing facility in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The site packs and stores product for a major confectionery brand, runs 24/5 across three shifts (with some Saturdays in peak season), and is temperature-controlled year-round. The customer has a team on site, so this is a hands-on, customer-facing role.

You'll lead a quality team of 10-12 across all three shifts (quality technicians, sanitation and temps), and own the site's quality systems and audit readiness, including the next AIB audit.

Schedule & location

Permanent, full-time, on-site in Carlisle, PA. Typically 8am-5pm, with flexibility to come in on afternoons or nights for training, onboarding or issues.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the quality assurance and site sanitation teams across three shifts
  • Keep packaging, storage and distribution compliant with customer requirements, FDA, AIB and GMP
  • Own and update the Quality Management System, SOPs and audit programs
  • Host customer and regulatory audits and drive corrective actions
  • Lead investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Set and track quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the warehouse, co-packing, inventory and operations managers
  • Support site safety: OSHA 300 logs, safety reporting with HR and monthly safety meetings

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of quality management experience and 5+ years leading teams
  • Working knowledge of GMP and AIB standards
  • Audit experience and/or lead auditor training
  • 3PL or contract packaging experience preferred; food, pharma or other GMP manufacturing also considered
  • Comfortable working directly with a demanding customer
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or relevant food packaging experience
  • Red Prairie or similar WMS experience is an asset

Compensation

  • $90,000 to $110,000 base salary, plus up to 10% bonus
