A product-leadership role owning the ocean portfolio for a global forwarder. Reports to the VP of Product. Owns carrier procurement, trade-lane product, and ocean gross-profit performance nationally.
What you'll own
- Ocean carrier procurement, allocation, and contract strategy
- Trade-lane product development and yield management
- Leadership of the ocean operations and pricing teams
- Gross-profit growth, service reliability, and KPI performance
- NVOCC compliance and FMC / regulatory requirements
- Executive reporting and trade-lane business reviews
What we're looking for
- 10+ years in ocean freight forwarding / NVOCC
- Deep carrier-procurement and trade-lane expertise
- Strong analytical and yield-management capability
- Experience leading distributed operations and pricing teams
- Bachelor's degree preferred
