The Air Export Manager runs the air export desk for a global forwarder near Toronto Pearson — managing a team that handles bookings, routing, documentation, and compliance to keep global shipments moving on time.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee air export bookings, routing, and documentation
- Ensure IATA, dangerous-goods, and export compliance
- Manage airline, co-load, and GSA relationships and rates
- Lead, schedule, and coach a team of air export coordinators
- Own service quality, on-time performance, and issue resolution
- Partner with sales and pricing on key accounts and quotes
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in air export forwarding operations, with team-lead experience
- Strong knowledge of IATA and dangerous-goods (DG) handling
- Experience with major forwarding / TMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise)
- Strong service orientation and problem-solving under deadlines
- Bilingual English/French an asset
